during my stay, I loved having breathtaking views of the castle from my room and being just a few steps away from the vibrant Grassmarket area, which is filled with great food options and incredible nightlife to explore after a long day of city strolls.

The hotel’s location near the Grassmarket is fantastic, offering easy access to local attractions. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and provided attentive service throughout my stay. I particularly enjoyed my City Double Room. it was spacious and had a nice coffee and tea setup. the decor felt a bit dated, and I noticed limited views from the window. I struggled with a few amenities. the bathroom didn’t have a toilet brush, which I found odd. Breakfast was decent, but I think they could step up their game with the variety offered. Despite these issues, the overall ambiance of the hotel resonated well with me.

During my recent stay, I was pleased with the fantastic location, allowing easy access to Edinburgh's key attractions, and the staff were exceptionally accommodating, providing helpful recommendations throughout my visit. The breakfast each morning was delightful, featuring a wide range of options that catered to all tastes. The only downside was that my room was a bit warm during the nights, which made sleeping slightly uncomfortable at times.

We loved the coffee machine, mini fridge, and bathroom amenities. Had a generous breakfast with good options like pastries and fruit.
